Vegetable CSA
What is CSA?
CSA = Community Supported Agriculture.
The CSA model was designed with the intention of creating an easy way for community members to directly be involved with and support a local farm. CSA members essentially become investors in a farm, through buying a subscription or "share". In return for their investment, CSA members get a weekly share of farm products. CSA members of a farm typically get the royal treatment, getting all of the "firsts" as the season rolls out. The first carrots. The first tomatoes. The first cucumbers. The Vegetable CSA is designed to make sourcing and eating vegetables EASY.
What you get with the Wild Fern Farm Vegetable CSA:
20 weeks of organic, farm fresh veggies grown right in Kingston, NH: The CSA runs for 20 weeks during the main growing season, starting in late May and running through early October.
Encouragement in trying out new ways to eat veggies: Members receive a weekly email from the farm with info about the vegetables that are in their share, how to store them and easy recipe ideas. The shares are curated with easy weekly meal ideas in mind.
No decisions required: We all make hundreds of decisions a day. Sometimes we just want someone else to make a decision for us. We curate the CSA shares each week based on what crops are best that week as well as ensuring that you get a wide array of common veggies. We work really hard to not overload you with too much kale or cucumbers and we work hard to make our emails informative, ensuring that you understand how to store and cook your vegetables so that you have little to no food waste. Our customers love not having to decide which vegetables to pick and to instead get to be surprised and challenged with learning how to cook with vegetables outside of their normal weekly repertoire.
Organically grown, flavorful, fresh, nutrient dense vegetables: We grow all our vegetables organically with soil health as the focal point of our growing practices. Healthy soil = healthy crops = tasty food. Read more about our practices here.

What our members are saying about the Wild Fern Farm Vegetable CSA
"Something about this CSA made cooking and eating veggies feel fun. Wild fern veggies were the star of the show on our dinner plates every night. We were eating healthier and trying new recipes! Can’t wait to continue with the fall CSA!"
"This was our first time ever subscribing to a veggie Csa and we had a great experience. Liz was very communicative about what we were getting and her weekly newsletters were really helpful in knowing how to cook and store the vegetables. I loved the variety we got and was able to explore with both old and new recipes. The quality of the veggies were excellent as well! Some days we would pick up our Csa and the kids and I would just have a snack of carrots on the car ride home."
"This was an amazing experience for our first CSA. The quality was top notch and friendliness of Liz made it a wonderful experience for us!"
